Big Free Show Soon In Miami

Can't wait to play this in-store @ Sweat Records. The turn out should be good and we're all really excited about playing in such an intimate space. We're also proud of the lineup we put together. Show will start early and run tightly on schedule, so come early!!! Sweat usually closes @ 10 PM but they're staying open longer to host this monster of a show. Did I mention the show is free? Seriously, shit will rule.

Also, buy some records. I saw the new Pelican vinyl & Crack The Skye @ Sweat the other day. Rad. Anyway, set times:

Saturday, January 30th @ Sweat Records - 5505 NE 2nd Ave Miami, FL
8:30-9:00 PM - Lil Daggers
9:15 - 9:45 PM - Furious Dudes
10:00 - 10:30 PM - Shroud Eater
10:45 - 11:15 PM - Green Sky

Our buddy Ryan from LA gave us a little exclusive stream spot on his site. He covers a lot of good bands, so go on his site and check out some of his interviews and such. Great dude.

If you have a website or a blog and want to make a post about the Green Sky, go for it, just be sure to include a link to our bandcamp download @ http://thegreensky.bandcamp.com AND OR link to our myspace account. Even if you don't have a website and want to help spread the Green Sky, go for it, tell your friends, make bulletins, post our streams on their pages, etc. Gracias.

All the Best,
Green Sky

update - 12-16-09

This blog will be our temporary home until we get a website/some web hosting in early 2010. An update:

-We've been recording a 2 song "demo" (it's just a song from our EP and one from our LP) with Jonathan Nunez from Torche. Sounds good and heavy. The track listing is "Remote World" and "A New Vision". We Will be posting the mastered mixes in a couple of days.

-We are going to finally start recording our EP in January of 2010. It's six (6) songs - Nothing Clocks, Violet, You Thought Wrong, Dead Weight, The Nocturnal Race, and A New Vision. It's all based on a loose concept we'll never reveal.

-Kiss has an album out @ Walmart.

-Santiago doesn't have a beard anymore. He looks stupid.

-Pedro should grow a beard.

All The Best,
The Green Sky

April 10th @ Goo

We are playing a show today April 10th @ a DIY venue in our hometown of Miami, FL called Goo. Obviously, no one reads this as of yet, but I just want to post to archive it. It will be cool to look at someday.

Maybe one day we'll shake shit up, and people will take notice.

"This isn't over in fact it's just begun"

Until then...
